Venues and Times

VENUES: We hold our tastings at the following venues. Please double check the venue on the booking page of your chosen tasting. A confirmation email will also be sent with the venue details when booking:

Zizzi, 31 Royal Exchange Square, Glasgow, G1 3AJ. Zizzi's is just a 5 minute walk from both the Queen Street and the Central Rail Stations.

Located right in the heart of Royal Exchange Square, is Zizzi. The restaurant makes the most of the building's stunning historical architecture to create a must visit destination for eating out in Glasgow. Paintings by local Scottish artists feature throughout the restaurant.

All our tastings are hosted in the private area upstairs, away from the restaurant, but the location means that it is a great place to have dinner prior to the tasting, or to linger with new friends after the tasting and have a bite to eat. As an added bonus, any diners on the evening of the tastings will get a 25% discount on their meal.

The restaurant boasts the first in house Zizzi bar where you will be able to choose from an extensive selection of wines and a sophisticated cocktail menu. To complete the experience you will be able to watch as your food is freshly prepared in the open air kitchens in authentic wood-stone ovens.

The Italian restaurant serves tasty, authentic dishes from pizza, pasta and risotto to salads and indulgent desserts – all in a uniquely designed restaurant. The Italian menu also includes Vegan and Vegetarian options.

The DoubleTree By Hilton Hotel on Cambridge Street in Glasgow. The DoubleTree is just a 10 minute walk from both the Queen Street and the Central Rail Stations - 36 Cambridge St, Glasgow G2 3HN.

The DoubleTree By Hilton Hotel is the ideal location to host the Glasgow Wine School Tastings. In the heart of the city, and just a few steps from Sauchiehall Street, the main shopping artery of Buchanan Street, and a wide range of restaurants and bars, theatres, the DoubleTree, has recently undergone an £11m Referbishment after having been taken over by Amaris Hospitality, and it shows!. The tasting venue is on the eigth floor, just ask the friendly staff at the front desk who will be more than happy to show you up.

TIMES: Eveining courses usually run from 7pm to 9pm and Daytime courses from 11am to 4pm, unless otherwise stated.

Please note that WSET courses have different time schedules, as well as a different venue. Please see individual course for times.
