WORLD OF WINE - Australia & New Zealand

PART 1 - Australia has come to represent the most 'successful' New World producer to date, the benchmark by which other new world producing countries have come to judge themselves. They have long been at the forefront of the 'New World' wine renaissance, and together with its huge range of climatic and geographical conditions, Australia one of the most versatile wine-growing countries in the world, giving us some classics like: cult status Shiraz, classic fruit-forward aromatic wines like Riesling from the Eden and Clare Valleys, the highly acclaimed Chardonnays and the unpretentious but delicious Hunter Valley Semillons.
New Zealand, but a tiny blip on the radar in terms of world wine production, and accounting for less than a quarter of a percent of the worlds wine, has some of the ‘new worlds’ finest wines.
New Zealand has taken Sauvignon Blanc and put its own brilliantly zesty stamp on it, creating a wine style that combines delicious tropical fruit flavours with lively, fresh-tasting acidity and a directness that makes them especially satisfying.
It ranks alongside Burgundy and California as a world class producer of Pinot Noir, as well as producing other fine wines from some of the most scenic areas in the world.

PART 2 - Buying, Storing & Decanting Wine. In this section, we'll discuss the best places to source your wine, how to store it properly - even if you don't have the perfect storage cellar, and we'll talk about decanting - when, how and why. We'll also share few nifty tricks as well!
All tastings include; minimum of 6 wines sourced locally so you can find them easily if you like them, full tasting notes, tasting sheet, use of professional tastings glasses and nibbles.
